Job Description

Located: Orange, MA fully on site

Salary: $60,000+ year

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with client specifications for replacement parts. Utilizing our extensive drawing library, you will generate quotes and collaborate with engineers to verify technical information. Comprehensive training will be provided at our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Evaluate dimensional tolerances, materials, and annotations before releasing drawings for production.
  • Work closely with design engineers, drafters, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and clarify design requirements.
  • Maintain thorough records of design reviews, markups, and revisions for documentation and quality assurance.
  • Replenish inventory stock and maintain accurate records of patterns used in the foundry.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in reviewing engineering drawings, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of drafting standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and applicable codes and regulations.
